Born in Bilbao, she began her musical studies with Begoña Sasía, obtaining higher degrees in Piano, Musical Language-Theory-Accompaniment, Music Pedagogy and Chamber Music at the “Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga” Conservatory in Bilbao in Bilbao and a higher degree in Singing with María Ángeles Rodríguez, specialising in Lied and Oratorio.

She has participated in advanced courses in Germany, France, England, Austria and Hungary with teachers such as Elio Scaravella, David Mason and Anatoli Goussev.

She has recorded the album “Banda sonora de Balmaseda” together with the Kolitza choir of Balmaseda and the Azkoaga band of Encartaciones with which she collaborates in numerous concerts held in the church of San Severino. With the group Aula Boreal she has performed Spanish music rescued from the archives of the cathedral of Sigüenza together with the ProArte orchestra of Madrid, highlighting his participation in the musical autumn of Soria in 2017.

With the guitarist Sylvia Gutiérrez she has performed recitals at the “Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga” Conservatory in Bilbao, at the Museo de Bellas Artes in Bilbao and at Fair Saturday 2016. She took part in the Russian culture day in collaboration with the Bilbao Language School in 2009 and 2016  with the pianist Viktoria Gavrilchenko.

She has worked as a teacher of Score Reduction and Transposition at the Centro Superior Musikene in San Sebastián and since 2005 she has been teaching Singing and Chamber Music at the “Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga” Conservatory in Bilbao.

With her students, she has participated in the stage and musical direction of “Gloria” Vivaldi (2006),  selection of “Carmen” (2007), “El Caserío” (2007),  “Le noce di Figaro” (2008), “Dido and Eneas” (2009), “West side story” (2011), “The little sweep” (2012),  “Die Dreigroschenoper” (2013),  “El niño judío” (2014), “Cendrillon” de Viardot (2015), “Bohemios” (2016), “Frasquita” (2017), “The gondoliers”(2018), “Les mosquetaires au couvent” (2019), “La Calesera” (2021), “Die Zauberflöte” (2022), “Alcina” (2023) and “Les Indes Galantes” (2024).

In october 2019 she founded Telemann trío with Emili Castelo-Branco (trumpet) and Patxi García-Garmilla (organ) participating in numerous concerts in Covarrubias, Benidorm, Los Arcos, Balmaseda, Busturia, Urduliz, Sopelana, Orduña, Miravalles and Santurce among others. Telemann trío´s last project with the soprano Irene Ojanguren is proposed to recover baroque pieces of the New World.
