Telemann trío performed for the first time in the historic Collegiate Church of San Cosme and San Damián in Covarrubias (Burgos) in an emotional concert in favour of Cáritas, which was held in August 2020 after the first wave of the pandemic.

This concert was followed by others such as the XV “Bizkaiko hotsak” Organ Cycle organised by the “Diego de Amezua” Association of Bizkaia in Ugao-Miraballes, the International Music Cycle of Castilla y León (2020) in Medina de Rioseco (Valladolid),  in the church of San Pedro de Sopelana and also in the IX International Baroque Organ Festival in Las Merindades (Oña, Burgos), the San Severino Church (Balmaseda. Bizkaia) and the “Fair Saturday” 2021 in Barakaldo (Bizkaia) and in Orduña Church, the FIOB Festival in Benidorm, Orduña, the Bilbao cathedral, the organ festival «Amigos del órgano Merklin» in Algorta, where they premiered the work «Helduak/Haurrak – Bizitzari» composed by Hilario Extremiana for Telemann trío, in «Ciclo Barroco 2023» at the Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga Conservatory in Bilbao, in Santa María of Los Arcos (Navarra), in El Redentor Church in Algorta commemorating its 50º anniversary, in San Jorge in Santurce, in Zenarruza monastery and in the 20th edition of Urdaibaiko organoak in Busturia. Its members, Susana Zabaco Perex (soprano), Emili Castelo-Branco (trumpets and flugelhorn) and Patxi García Garmilla (organ) agree in affirming that “our programmes aim to make known the works of the Spanish baroque, the colonial baroque, the baroque works of an endless number of unknown authors and, of course, the extensive repertoire of the great German composer Georg Philip Telemann, who gives his name to the trio”. And all this is done without losing sight of the suggestive repertoire of romantic and contemporary composers, which notably enriches its artistic and cultural projection, as well as being an incentive to explore and make a wide range of musical styles known to the public.
